How DevSan Short handles link safety, abuse reports, and user protection.
Safety at DevSan Short
Short links and QR codes are useful because they are compact. They can also be abused to hide harmful destinations. DevSan Short combines user controls, reporting workflows, and moderation tools to reduce that risk.
Before opening a short link
- Use the link checker when you are unsure about a destination.
- Be careful with links that ask for credentials, payment details, wallet keys, or downloads.
- Report phishing, malware, fraud, harassment, spam, or illegal content through the abuse form.
For link creators
- Do not disguise dangerous or misleading destinations.
- Use passwords and expiry dates for sensitive sharing.
- Keep public notes free of private credentials, personal data, and prohibited material.
Abuse reports are reviewed by moderators. Severe reports such as phishing, malware, fraud, and child-safety issues are prioritized.
